Mental Health refers to a person’s overall psychological well-being. It includes the ability to manage one’s emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. Good mental health is important for overall health and well-being, and it can affect how a person thinks, feels, and acts. It can also affect how a person handles stress, relates to others, and makes choices.
Mental health problems, also known as mental health disorders, are conditions that can disrupt a person’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and can cause problems functioning in daily life. Examples of common mental health disorders include anxiety and depression.
It is important to prioritize and take care of one’s mental health, just as it is important to take care of physical health. This can involve seeking support from friends, family, and/or mental health professionals, engaging in activities that promote mental well-being, and taking care of physical health through proper nutrition, exercise, and sleep.

Anxiety
Anxiety is an emotion characterized by feelings of tension, worried thoughts, physical distress, and a tendency to avoid certain situations. It can be a symptom of other health conditions, or a mental disorder in itself.
